Environment & Ecological Balance

Tree Plantation & Afforestation Drive

Restoring native biodiversity, expanding canopy shade, and securing groundwater for future generations.

Why Tree Plantation Matters

Rapid urbanization and deforestation in semi-arid regions of Maharashtra have severely eroded topsoil, reduced rainfall retention, and elevated summer temperatures. Aadiyogi Foundation's Tree Plantation initiative tackles this crisis at the roots.

We do not just plant trees and walk away. Our Adopt-a-Tree Protocol pairs every planted sapling with local student groups, village panchayats, or temple committees who take responsibility for regular watering, organic composting, and tree guards during the vital first 24 months.

Our Native Species Focus

Neem (Azadirachta indica)

Air purifier, natural pest deterrent, medicinal bark and leaves.

Peepal & Banyan (Ficus)

High oxygen release, massive shade canopy, avian nesting habitat.

Amla & Jamun

Nutritious fruit yield for school children and local biodiversity.

Karanj & Tamarind

Drought-resistant roots, soil erosion prevention along road banks.
